Advanced EyeCare - Raytown

I had an episode of seeing colors and was worried about my retina, got an appointment and found to have diabetic retinopathy. Miranda, the assistant, was very thorough asking questions and Dr Pena was very nice and informative. The front desk is always friendly and helpful and the eyeglass fashionistas are great. I've been going here for at least 10 years and can't think of a complaint.

I've been using americas best for years , but aftert the move from Texas to hear i went to the one in Lee summit , and I felt like my eyeglasses prescription was not right , like I get headaches but the vision in my glasses or great... so I went to get a 2nd opinion here, and they were very sweet and kind.. I just don't understand why, they lowered my eye prescription from my old prescription when I have a hard time seeing z I thought it more powerful but all in all satisfied 😌 at the bottom i put my old prescription down compared to my new :)

My experience here has been very good over time. I really like Kathleen Wilhelmus (Dr. Katie) for me and Dr. Hurter has seen my son for several years. He’s also amazing, too. I have no complaints. I wish I could remember the name of the young woman with dark hair that helped me with my glasses. She was really good too. My only critique is the glasses selection. Haven’t been able to find anything I want so am grateful I can bring in my own frames, have them assessed for fitness and use them.

This was literally one of the best experiences I've ever had at a doctors office. Everything was so personal and intentional. Each person I interacted with was so kind and made me feel comfortable. Especially Ebony, she spent probably over 45 mins teaching me how to use contacts for the first time. I had a great time with her, she made the whole experience actually enjoyable. I'm looking forward to next year when I can come back for my next exam.

Me and my kids just started going here and I have no complaints! Everyone had smiles and it made me feel comfortable. My son is on the spectrum and they handled him with so much grace and care.

Wow!! What an amazing place! Every single person there was so kind, so helpful, and had a positive personality. BEST experience I have ever had at the eye doctor! I don't often leave reviews, but these guys deserve more than 5 stars!

I am visiting from Dallas for the CHIEFS/eagles game and forgot my contact lenses! I had my Rx emailed to me and they gave me some contacts! Total lifesavers! True compassionate customer service. If I lived in the area…I would definitely use Advanced Eyecare- Raytown. Thank you guys so much for saving me! Go CHIEFS!

I've been going to Advance EyeCare for years, since I was 18. I'm 28 now. Each Doctor has provided exceptional care. The Staff has always been friendly and I appreciate how effecient they are while never skimping on their quality of care. I would always recommend.

I recently switched optometrists and couldn’t be happier with advanced eye care in Raytown. Everyone in the office, from Dr. Katie, Ebony, and front desk staff, is so kind, informative, helpful. Truly top notch care. Highly recommend!

Was referred here by my girlfriend and was not disappointed. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Jessica at the front desk was so sweet and Ebony was very helpful and honest helping me pick out a pair of glasses that looked right on my face. Great experience!

I am so in love with this doctor Miss Julie who helped my son 10 years old calm down so we can get eye drops he was very nervous she was very accommodating nice and friendly and child friendly and I just love this place and I love her thank you so much advance eyecare

I've been to several different places. This is by FAR the best. The are ALL so informative and they make you feel incredibly comfortable. I'll never go to another eyecare while I'm I'm this area!!
